I had a 928 gts that was the press car reg THE 928S, utterly loved it. Also had a 968 sport but not the CS. Superb handling and just enough poke for the fun factor. Had a couple of 928s4 as well. And 2 944s. And a 924.... you get the idea!!

I've always found not telling the wife anything about car related activities is for the best. She let's me get on with whatever I do and think I'm nuts anyway.

Keeps me off the streets and these activities doesn't cost a fortune so everyone is happy.

I don't do man maths anyway if I'm honest. Everything makes sense and has to make sense or err.....it doesn't make sense.

Auto 928. It’s a cruiser after all. The manual box is for the 968.
Have you driven a manual GTS? Transforms the car... this side of a 550 Maranello, probably the best 90s GT. The Shamal is great, but that engine...

This. I occasionally get notions of getting a 145 Cloverleaf, but I’d have to pay £600 a year to store it + the usual tax, MoT, running. I love them, but I already have a hot hatch in my integral garage...

As much as I love the 145, do I love it that much? Hmm

Great car but some of the body panels I believe are now impossible to get

A nice 145 Cloverleaf is a lovely car, finding a good one is the challenge

Mrs Catman had one. Ex-AROC chairman owned. Most expensive car we'd ever bought at the time. An Essex CC contractor van rear ended her at a junction, and that was that. Must have been nearly 10 years back and she still misses it.

There’s a couple I know of if you’re interested...

This one’s not perfect, but it was the most fun I’ve had in a car for a while. Not the finest dynamic tool, but huge grins... and it looks great too.

My company car back in the very early 00's, 146Ti.
Did about 130K miles in it, very comfortable and nice to drive.
After this was forced down the diesel route due to the new emissions taxation. The joy of the 2lt turbo diesels. 58091

I have had loads of 145 CLs, never a 146 Ti though, not looking for another I think that itch has been well and truly scratched
