That's a really good review...Made me want one and not thought that for a while.

Yes I agree. I’ve never had one but thought the article was positive and makes a great point about pricing.

Yes, they wasn't very positive about the latest range of cars......That does seem good value for a GS with 54k on the clock. Sad state of the big engine used car market I suppose.

'Nowadays the big news focuses on the Levante and other future SUV projects, what with the GranTurismo in dire need of replacement and both the saloons off the pace.'

A well serviced and sensible mileage GS at circa £20k is indeed a potential bargain. Fun now, and a possible money earner over the long term.

Good article and certainly agree that these represent great VFM. Not sure I agree about the comment of a 4200 being only 3k cheaper. A like for like mileage/aged 4200 would easily be 5k cheaper than the GS. A nice facelift 4200 of similar vintage can be had for 15k.

I will have a very nice 59k mile facelift 4200 on a 2005/55 up for sale at some point for max £15k more likely less.

Didn't realise that GS prices had dropped so far...On AT there are 3 under 20k and another 3 under 25k....It's a long time since we seen them at that level. A year or so ago most were over 25k and it looked like they were heading above 30k and beyond.

One of those on AT at £20k is mine, ok got 104k miles but an impecable service history with every penny spent since new, and oustanding condition throughout, not had one enquiry in the 8 weeks it's been for sale (well 1, but that was someone trying a scam!).
I'm only selling because I have a lower back injury and can't get comfortable (better now I put a small cushion behing me).

However after reading that PH article and had a look in the garage at her, I think I just may change my mind!

We probably need a few more of us to go there and comment positively in defence given the under-informed opinions some people in that thread are spouting!

That is a steal.
In general though Maserati prices are not holding up well... Ths GTS dropping so low has weighed everything down.
I keep hoping that the Gransport will overtake the GTS price wise , like what happens with older Porsche's but its not looking like it will.
