You didn’t live in the black country in the 70’s then? Apparently British racing green was common.
I grew up in the Black Country. Longbridge isn’t in the Black Country though. But the houses in Longbridge were still BL colours when I was at secondary school in Brum.

I’ve not moved far, only about 30 miles. My uncle still lives in the same street as he was born in in 1947.

When I was really little my Dad worked here, the office on the top floor had one of those wind up pencil sharpeners, I thought that was amazing.

30 miles is more than enough. Electric Coop bread van, me. Cleaning out the ovens was 'interesting '. They'd use students fir anythin.
