There’s only 2 250S’s.

The 250F is the racing car of which there are 26.
There’s a missing one with a massive racing history. It could be worth up to €50million.

My friend has one. His father owned it for 25 years and it’s not seen the light of day in that time. Next month I’ll be going over to Italy to get the chassis number to see whether it’s the ‘missing’ 250F.
If it is or it isn’t. It’s an epic motor.
Very exciting!!........You must be looking forward to that trip!!

Very interesting, it seems to be a very complicated issue with many chassis numbers being used for various cars and various parts being used on various chassis numbers with the addition of replicas and repaired/new chassis. Keep us informed, it would be quite a discovery!

A Great story here.
History doesn’t record whether this Bizzarrini’s first French owner (who dealt in jukeboxes and slot machines) wore a racing suit whenever he drove it, but the attire and rally lights don’t suggest he went anywhere slowly. Another Frenchman owned it from 1970 for 45 years, painting it orange and taking the mileage to 109,000km “although I never exceeded 250km/h to not over rev the engine.” Our client bought it seven years ago and drove it 1,000km non-stop across Europe for us to sell. We’re pleased to report the job is now done and the new owner will be using it in the same spirit. To quote an old American friend: “Never lift!”

You can get a new one now..these continuations are interesting but I can imagine it takes away a bit from the originals

There’s a few other special cars in the collection as well.
What they are is anyones guess.

Which are more desirable, Mk1's or Mk2's ? I'll ignore anything later.

It depends on what your personal taste is for, most people would probably answer with Mk1s with their early period charm, brocade interiors etc, but Mk2s are a good bet when you find a good one, they're also rarer as they were only made for two years, '67 to '69 (although the last few Mk2 Cooper Ss were built in February '70). Don't dismiss the Mk3s - they are becoming sought after now because of the bonkers prices attached to the earlier cars, but some have been reshelled using later shells. A good Mk3 Cooper S is a very usable car though. I'm a little biased as I've have several Mk2s but I still fancy another Mk1 some day.

Before I bought the white Mk2 above I put a wanted ad on the Mk1 performance Mini forum and within a couple of days had offers of seven good cars, Mk1s and Mk2s, none of which have been advertised before that I'm aware of, they're still out there ;)

Not really; GB doesn’t include NI whereas UK does. I believe it was a parting gesture from the Repulic of Europe after 45 years of failing to address it.

Absolutely nothing to do with Brexit. It’s something that is done via the United Nations. We/Boris asked for it to be changed

We have two vehicle license dept in the UK and hence two different sets of number plates Great Britain hence GB and Northern Ireland hence NI
