There was a north circuit and a south circuit originally, the one that people go and stuff their Golf on nowadays is the north circuit.

Many fond memories of watching the racing here. The New Year’s Day meet was always good - heading down with a sore head from the celebrations which quickly cleared with the consumption of egg and bacon rolls served at the circuit. I always loved the Group B rally cars and thoroughly enjoyed watching them used in anger for Rallycross.

Followed a couple of old Mini to what turned out to be a small impromptu little show
About 40 cars there in total and these were the best
The MG is a V8 and the Cortina was a 1600E

Raced on two wheels many times. One of my favourites; loved the gradient changes.

It's a 1932 Nardi-Monaco 'Chichibio', designed by Augusto Monaco and built by Enrico Nardi (of Turin fame) and successfully hillclimbed using a 998cc *** V-twin and 5 speed gearbox. Now a museum exhibit:
