When I was eight I used to go round to my “girlfriend’s” house in Northamptonshire, not to see her, but to stare at her Dad’s light metallic blue Dino in his garage. I guess that’s where it all started for me...
When I was 16 my boss in northants had a dino , a red one , he owned a body shop, bought it as a write off , ordered a new front end for it , when it came it was just flat panels, because they were hand made they had to be shaped to fit, nobody would do it so he had to get a specialist in

When it was finished one day he wanted me to help him lay some flags at his house , we walked towards the dino , I though wow , then he locked it up and got in an old land rover , on the 5 miles to his house he went up the kerb twice so I'd probably be dead if we'd gone in the dino
This was 1977 , I think he sold it for £5000

Greypaul are asking £365,000 for the Dino in the picture.

In answer to Zagatoes, yes - it had very smart black leather seats with red stripes.

If he's still alive I bet he wishes he'd kept it

I have an equivalent sort of , I couldn't give a Yamaha RD400 away in 1986 , I ended up taking the only offer I got , a swap for a fitted house alarm system
It was the same as this but with standard exhausts

She’s not cold - she’s aroused by thinking of the type of man who would drive a Maserati....
She's still waiting for you Jon....her life...empty, meaningless and unfulfilled. You need to do the chivalrous thing and help her make her life be complete.
