not sure either, am I right in saying that America has strict emissions rules and those type of cars are not allowed on public highways?? and cant be registered etc
Think you are right on that, seem to remember Jay Leno has something like a focus RS that is kept elsewhere most of the time for that reason.

Lucky to have flown 4 times on Concorde. 30th birthday treat on the jump seat in the cockpit for take off out of Heathrow. Too far away from the RR's on afterburner for me though! Back of the plane was the best place for full aural experience! Such a shame we don't see and hear it anymore. Hopefully not the same for Maseratis in Sport/Race mode!

Same engines in the Vulcan I think?

Many happy memories of Vulcans doing their thing at British GPs (especially Brands Hatch) when they went into full vertical climb. Rib cage rattling!! Greta would be apoplectic....

Mrs wack and I took the kids to legoland , 2005-6 , concorde flew over , everybody and I mean everybody stopped what they were doing and looked skywards until it was out of sight then carried on.
One of the most beautiful aircraft ever built , designed by men in brown suits with drawing boards, slide rules and a pipe on the go
