Pic of the day

Wow 13 years ago when a few of us were taking part in this Guinness World Record at Silverstone in 2012.
What a day it was I did it with my 456.

It's interesting as the trip we did in the Alps last year in the Fulvia have just done one in the Pyrenees and several cars retired and went back to the UK early.
My mates Lancia Thema 8 32 ran faultlessly and was the only Lancia like we were in the Alps in 2024.
Who says that Italian Cars can be unreliable.
Preparation is the key to a Successful trip folks.

A friend of mine in Australia won a lottery and bought one of these in the early 80’s - I just remember it was scary fast and it would lock the rear wheels on downshifts due to the compression of the large V8, I think his was a 500GT so a 7.0 - the cops heard him coming from a mile away and in those days they were very much to be avoided as they would bash a light and book you for that if they couldn’t catch you for speeding.

Apologies this is not car related - but work and home have been particularly stressful recently and a holiday was needed.
Currently staying in the middle of nowhere in Puglia and enjoying doing nothing and thinking only about beer, women, wine, women, food, women and of course you guys / gals and cars
