**** that’s a lot of money for a DBS. I’ve not been following them, didn’t realise they’d gone up that much.
They had one at £250k last year.
But these big money ones have had £200k restorations, so it’s just getting your repair money back really.
Better to buy a good, useable one at, say, £100k, and keep it at about that level. You’ll not make money, but nor will you lose a fortune.
 
Also, there’s quite a difference between the early straight 6 DBS cars and the later (proper) V8 ones.
Remember, it was designed for a V8, but then fitted with the 6 from the DB6 when the V8 engine wasn’t ready in time.
The V8 DBS is obviously the one to have, as it’s the best DBS and far better looking than the Aston “V8” that followed.
