parking sensors

I fitted after market parking sensors to my 3200 many years ago now and i thought i should share what i did. I bought front and rear sensors from these guys
I mounted the rear control unit in the boot on the left behind the liner and ran wires up the headlining to a small display which is stuck to the rear view mirror, not as annoying as I thought it would be. The power comes from the reversing light on the boot, I traced the wiring into the boot area. The front controller is under the dash and i drilled a small hole in the leather next to the headlight height adjuster for the small button to activate the forward parking sensor. I fitted the antenna with the bumpers removed, I was getting some respray work done and they were off anyway.
you need to keep the antenna painted or coated with something as they dont like it when moisture gets aroumd the sensors. Otherwise been great, it has cut the instances of odd parking contacts to zero so it must be helping!
