Hi all, newbie here, just now taken ownership of my first Maserati GTS. I am hoping someone can help as the parking sensors are constantly going off - even when i switch off the parking sensors - any help appreciated.

Welcome Jigsaw.

The parking sensors are a know issue on the GTS, seems fronts fail more than the rears.

It will need to go to the dealer or specialist and be hooked up to SD to determine which one is at fault.

Where are you based and do you have a warranty on the car?

Good morning Conaero - thanks for the reply.
No warranty on this as I purchased privately. My nearest dealer is in Edinburgh (Greypaul).
Any ideas as to whether this will be a huge expense to resolve?

Is it front or rear you've got issues with? I'm guessing front as you mention turning them off?

Turn them on. Go and either put your finger on them, or your ear nearby. You can hear / feel the ticking if they are working. You might simply find one has failed. I *think* the fronts are simple to replace, but not sure if we have an alternative yet. The rears we have an alternative:

Only ten of your earth pounds. The rear bumper needs to come off though, but any decent mechanic can do that in a couple of hours.

If it's the control box, then it's going to be a bit more spendy:

Can't look it up, as the Eurospares website is borked.

Hi thank you for your suggestions all.
I have just got back from holidays and the car is going in to get some diagnostics carried out (no cost) as having a second key programmed at Greypaul Maserati in a couple of weeks. I will use this to get more info whilst the car is with them and then go from there.
No doubt they will suggest I need a new chassis, wheels, ECUs etc. etc.!! (Unless anyone has good experience from the usual Maserati main dealers?)
