PARKING IN BRIGHTON

Evening all
Any car park recommendations in Brighton that particularly have nice large bays that my car can sit nicely and be left in piece.

Oh also that once in bay I can open the doors to get in and out of.

Old world car parks are the ones I hate with bays the size fit for minis or fiesta's:frusty5:

I heard the Regency might be good

A question I am always asking wherever I go, and one of the main reasons I keep my 'big car' at home in the garage, and use a little car for everyday driving.
I would think, and I admit I'm only guessing, Brighton is run by the leftist Green party, and they are equal to the looney left in their hatred for private car ownership, so it's my guess they will make parking as difficult as possible, and if you have a bigger more expensive car, you are an enemy of the state, and your car and indeed anything else of value must be confiscated for the good of the collective. Your car may e donated to a Politburo member who needs it more than the rest of us Comrade!
I'm afraid I've not answered your question, but having watched a load of videos of our 'marvelous?!?!?!?!?' London Mayor spouting twaddle about the London extension of the ULEZ zone forced this potential topic hijacking, and has usefully allowed me to express some feelings about the way London and this country are going.
Meanwhile I am sure others will, be able to actualy answer your question...

I don't visit all too often but when i do i typically park at the street in front of the main police station and AmEx office. From there it's less than 5min walk to the pier and would think fairly safe.

More interested in the dink factor of the paint work.
We have those special mongs in life that see if you have a flash car, then your rich, and in turn can have the damage replaced, or replace the car, because the assumption is you can afford it.

We worked hard to get what we own.
As I say to the children, I can feel their eyes rolling right now as saying " here we go again "

Anyone can buy a luxury/sports car.......the trick is trying to hold onto it, running costs etc :boss:

I always go to Regency Square. It can be a little tight between the high kerbs at the entrance, but it's clean and light with decent sized spaces.

High curbs statement........not so keen now with my wide low profiles

Most car parks have narrow high kerb entrances. As long as you take it steady these are fine with a GT and more important are the things outside of your control like narrow spaces. I use regency square but my favourite is Trafalgar St car park which oddly the entrance is from Blackman St

it’s relatively small but all spaces are quite wide and you need a car park ticket for pedestrian access as it has full height gates to get in or out. Parked the GT there last week
