Park off when driving and EPB

Folks

After say 10-15 mins of driving the park off light comes up, pressing button does nothing. Car drives fine.

Only symptom is that if in neutral and then flick up for first it engages fist but keeps the EPB on.

I can disengage the EPB via the button though.

Any thoughts?

I get the same thing, but normally after start up. I think it is battery related in my case...

Mines been doing it a lot lately and my battery is 2 years old. I am thinking for the sake of £85 to just get another. It sorted it last time too.

Couple that with the Transmission Error, go to dealer I have started getting again, which was fixed by a new battery last time too.

These cars are so battery sensitive.

I put a brand new Bosch battery in about 3
Months ago can’t be that surely!?

Only done it on last two drives out.

I know, it’s sat on a shelf, I replaced it as the first step in the tracker issue investigation. It will go back in at some point!

That it comes up when you are driving suggests it might be something else. Park off will come on when the TCU sees something anomalous from the gearbox potentiometers I think. So probably time to get it plugged in.

Bladerunner kindly relieved me of my spare battery the other day as he was experiencing the same issue with his GT too. Must be something in the water

You will need something fairly smart. SD3 of course, EasyMas will do it when it goes on release. Leonardo or Texa will also pull any codes.

At least I’m not alone then. Let’s see if someone can get to a conclusion. My problem will be getting to an SD3 machine easily without a chew on

Unfortunately, however, it doesn’t seem to have cured the same issue I’m experiencing.

‘Park off’ still comes on sometimes whilst driving, it’s just done it today.
Turned off ignition for a couple of minutes and restarted...the ‘park off’ symbol was gone and running perfectly normal?

Good it’s not there now but frustrating it’s intermittent!

Just wondering, do you gents drive your cars regularly?

Might be tempting fate, but I've been driving my GTS quite a bit since I bought it, and it's been a lot happier for regular use.

(Not long after buying my car, I had a new battery and early service.)

I’ve owned mine over 4 years and never had this so i wouldn’t attribute this particular fault to that.

Bit of a weird one
