Hi Wattie,

Now that I know you're not taking the p1ss, very happy to assist.
I can see the car is located at Lorbek's in Melbourne. They go over all their stock to the very highest level of presentation and yet price their stock competitively.
They must buy well.
I have visited them and was very impressed. I can say this as a sometimes concourse judge.
That car is beautifully presented in a gorgeous colour combo. Features the leather roof lining too. It is an import ( probably English just like mine ).
You can see the pink import sticker on the passenger B pillar. Aust delivered ones have green plaque on the panel covering the radiator.
I note they are only displaying one key. That's a bartering point. Ring up your local Maserati dealer and find out the cost.
If you are considering this one, we can reach out to Forum members in Melbourne to pop by and assess before you get it taken to an Indi for a report.
Photos do hide imperfections.
Did they mention the extent of the after market exhaust? The full Larini system front to back like mine is over $10,000 and seriously loud.
Known issues with the model ( I've had them all ) are heater core leak, Alternator which sits in the V cooking eventually and the Compressor cooking as the exhaust wraps around it.
Upgrade to do - The FD Drive By Wire Enhancement Module transforms the gear change, but ART in Melbourne can custom program to achieve this far cheaper.

Forgot the buttons. Yes send them to Larry in Florida to restore.
He did all mine plus vents plus air cond dials plus door handle back plates.
The ones you are questioning are the easiest to remove.
I also notice the V8 badge and Gransport logo are incorrectly positioned on the front guards.
Most probably implies a repaint. Not a biggy, my front end needs a repaint too from usage.

Thanks Bl, appreciate the input and advice.
The exhaust situation isn’t clear, I need to get on the blower for a chat and run it by my Mrs. She’s seen it and liked it but I dunno how she’d gonna cope with “old school” as what we’ve got just now literally drives and parks itself.
Cant justify 2 cars so current one would go.
I’ll update here regardless.

Larini tips are angled - these look more like Tubi. Plus, the O/S look like they need straightening up a wee bit. Gorgeous car though.

Honestly I wouldn't choose a GS as a single car. It is a bit too hard core and intense ( read focussed driving ) that can be too tiring for everyday use. It is best for the 'fun car' role. I can say this as I have used mine for business for the last 5 years and put on 70,000 km in the process. There are days when you just want a softer car. I would see the GT as the better everyday car.

Now sold - not to me!
I phone this morning and they couldn’t name the exhaust system, nor if it had been resprayed in the front and they didn’t know the clutch life. That said they didn’t bs me and I was very impressed by their responses. They said they would find out and in the meantime email me it’s sound- which they did.
I think they’re a quality outfit.
I’ll try to upload but I think it’s the wrong format as it keeps saying wrong file extension. Someone got a lovely car, I’m not sure it was for me after Bl’s advice above but it certainly caught my eye.
Stunning looking vehicle.

I just received a text.
It’s back up for sale.
The gentleman purchaser was refused finance.
