OK Scaf. looking forward to meeting you at Guildford cathedral, probably near the main entrance rather than in the car park to the rear/ left side of the main building. Here is the first draft of the route card. All journey times from Google Maps. I have included two meeting points for folk to join us: Guildford Cathedral and the Starbucks service area on the A303 just after we join it from the M3, it is opposite Popham airfield.

I would suggest, after Odiham, going Oakley, Overton, Whitchurch, rather than M3, A303, if you fancy a scenic drive via the Bombay Sapphire distillery rather than motorway. That's what I did after The Departure Lounge last time.

Hello Contigo.
Looking forward to meeting you and your new Strad.
I'm not sure where you will be travelling from, but will you be joining the rest of us at Guildford Cathedral car park (in front of the main building, not beside it) at 10:50 for an 11:00 departure?

I’d be up for coming but a) I don’t own a Maserati still b) the GTA’s diff is whining c) I can’t quite face turning up in an arthritic 295k mile 156

Ebenezer, I don't know Basingstoke, so someone else might have a better idea, but we exit Basingstoke on the B3400 towards Andover and there seems to be stacks of parking around the Waterpark just off a large roundabout on the B3400 . How about meeting there? It should be well signposted. Lets agree a place then work out the time.

If you are planning to do the Oakley, Overton, Whitchurch route, I'm not sure its super attractive to go up to the B3400 and through the centre of Basingstoke (apart from impressing the natives).b Maybe 'Brighton Hill Retail Park'? (Resisting a stop at McD.)
