On the lookout for a GT

That's very nice just needs silver wheels for me.

Grey for me Phil. Silver on red just doesn’t work for me. Makes the Red look a tad weak. But the wheels on that GT are probably their worse design for me.

Not for me - that red carpet looks so MG Metro and the miles are 50% more than I want
Don't knock the MG metro...

Yes the carpet is a curious choice but I think it works. It's the black trim between the carpet and the sabbia interior that doesn't. Good looking car with the correct colour brake calipers.

I had a look at some late DB9s last year and realised that they offered little that my GranTurismo did not have. I've not fully bought into the look of the two 'new' Aston coupes but they seem to have sold a few. I presume you mean a front engined Ferrari as a mid engined car is very different in what is offered?
You look at the Vanquish, BB? A worthy successor to any man's Maser GTS (unless you still feel the need to have usable rear seats).

Was looking at a stunning carbon white edition at Dick Lovett last weekend. Of all the cars in the showroom it just jumped out at you. It’s styling has just got better with age and looked like a Aston should look. Beautiful car.

Yes they are very appealing in either 6 speed or 8 speed versions. I also suspect they will do well value wise against the DB9 which seems to have a gradual decline to not much if you look at early examples.

The funny thing about having the back seats is that you don’t realise how much you do use them until you start looking at cars that don’t have them or have next to useless ones. Then I started looking at my mileage between MOTs and saw that the Maser is now a 2000-3000 miles pa car having done about 9000 pa in its first five years. Must use it more!

Why not white ? ( I have a white one)
Colour is aways subjective... White reminds me of previous work cars and is in my eyes bland esp paired with black leather... having said that my GS is triple black which I don't like either!

Sorry to hear nothing suitable has come up, it's frustrating being particular but at least when you finally get there you will be pleased! Took me 6 months and about 8 car viewings to finally get a car I was happy with and it's always the same story. I've decided to not sell mine as everything I've seen is nowhere near my standard, it's a nightmare! I just get itching feet! Good luck!
