Yeah DG52 MAS , great day at Goodwood, until the last outing of the afternoon for me , when the F1 pump went on the out lane , the good news at least it brought about a how to , and the cheapest way out of renewing the F1 pump and relay issues

Any more Andy like LLandow

I'd give a kidney for this one in my garage

I'm not sure that Panini would sell Loz, so some consolation prize pics for you. (Taken in the good old days when Dick Lovett sold Maseratis - but alas, no more :()

Hi Mark,
I do remember that day in Feb 08 well.
Remind me which one of the 3200s yours was?
Third one in that little convoy. Blu Sebring. Remember it well Graham and you with your light blue the name of which escapes me. You were living in Chandlers Ford if memory serves - which it usually doesn’t! Remember Loz too with the GS, is that right? Sad I missed the other runs. Another meet would be good when this sh!tstorm is over.

Well remembered Mark!
After 5 years living in Brussels (miss the beer & laid back humour!), back in Chandler's Ford.
Azzurro Argentina is/are the word(s) you are looking for.
Indeed, an excursion into the New Forest would be excellent!

Whats the road tax in BE like? I'm moving to Luxembourg soon and looking at living for a while at least in Arlon, easy commute on the free Lux trains.

I want to take car initially, I know I have six months to register car in BE but worst case scenario'ing - what would the road tax be on my QP5? Research so far seems to indicate mental, they even have a registration tax like Ireland....

So far it seems France - no RFL, Germany and Lux, roughly €250 a year, no idea re: BE since it goes on about Fiscal HP - I used an online calc and it said tax was €46,000 which can't be right!

Expensive, but not that expensive! But to give you an indication we had a QPV at the time as an everyday runner and the calculations were going to be €2,400 (in 2014).

Another thing to bear in mind is the level of driving skills in Belgium if you are going to have a 'nice' car there.
Go into Brussels and take your life into your own hands. We used a car to get out of Brussels at weekends (an Alfa) and used the public transport (very good) in the city.

These were the 2 reasons why we sold the QPV (we kept the 3200 as we had garage space in the UK to keep it).

The area around Arlon (and especially north of there) is wonderful - some great, unspoiled driving roads around there.
Bear in mind Belgium only introduced the driving test in 1977, so there are a lot of people on the roads who have never take lessons or had a test, so be very wary of cars with pre-'73 plates ("A-1111", "AA-111" and "A-111-A" ) also plates go with owners rather than cars.

Great country - we learnt so much living there. Oh - did I mention the beer?
