Welcome back, plenty of us checking in less than usual largely due to Maserati being on a gap year still.

I guess we all want to fix your 3200. Are you not tempted for it to break down more than half a mile away from your house and then continue on your journey to an indie via the RAC/AA low loader? Mind no MOT or tax so you are backed into a corner really. Does you Cayenne have a tow bar? Plenty of people will lend you a trailer.

Anyway back on message, GranTurismos - like anything with a big engine - have dropped a lot so you will easily get one on budget.

Welcome back and good luck with your proper purchase and with Marci. Here’s a photo from a few years back when she was on the road. 65717

Thanks for all the welcome back posts and particularly the thoughts re trying to get her back on the road, I just can't risk it guys. I live 500 miles north of the nearest specialist and with her being pre obd, I can't use any other garage I know so will at some point even if I fix the ecu and keep her, I will get caught out again.
My preference is someone taking her on as a project, I really don't want to break her unless there is no choice. I have some time though since I don't plan to get the next car till April/May by which time, I will need the garage space she is taking up.

So sad she is going but happy to announce a forum member is taking Marci on as a project and I don't need to go through with breaking her........I was not looking forward to doing that.
Thanks to all for thoughts on this, now the search starts for a green GT to replace her :p

Hi andy
Yup, Baz is a good car. Not needed anything big done and got brakes done in yellow and vents same shade of blue as the leather so he looks the biz too. Fiona still only uses in summer, maybe 3k a year if lucky. She now has a little mito sportiva thingie for her daily, black with white wheels, God that 1ltr sounds good and nippy as **** too!
