Sounds like an earthing issue.

You could try physically earthing the body of the sender to the chassis or to the negative terminal on the battery.

Yep. If that improves things, the earth strap must be going as the sender screws into the engine block.

Hi chaps
Ref the oil pressure light, it's now sorted and was caused by a bad earth connection on the sender. She's now a steady pressure and once warm its at the correct pressure ☺️
