I find this mileage thing a bit strange.
.. A modern BMW or Porsche are not affected by this mileage madness that blights Maseratis values.
Modern Porsche are very mileage sensitive. I dont know how you made this conclusion that they are not affected by mileage madness.......

They seem to be bidding them more on age now. Last month I got a £23.5k bid (subsequently increased with a bit of over allowance) on my 61 plate 51k mile GTS Auto. That's quite a bit more for the same mileage car but its a lot newer. It had recently had a 2 year service and suspension bushes done mind.

I was yesterday offered £15k as a trade-in price for mine, 2008 4.7L GT-S MC Shift at 51k miles, bought from Nuvola 2 years ago. Don’t think it makes sense to sell...
Omg that’s insane Matt. I am sure you would get 25k+ even with a fire sale on the forum even with this tough crowd wanting a bargain.
15k is a joke. What was it against?

Whilst the GS is lighter and therefore would outperform a GTS (not a Strad) then it would be a choice for the track or twisters but that’s missing the point. The GT is that a GT car and drives better and with more comfort plus it’s more of an event. The Sound too... the GS is getting long in the tooth now too...

While I don’t disagree about most of your statement, how can a GS be long in the tooth ?Please can you explain because I don’t understand why

Panamera Turismo GTS. I ordered it the day it was announced (already had a 4S ordered so changed) and won’t get it until April earliest. Wife won’t let me get a Ferrari until we change house (she either doesn’t realise or doesn’t care that the Porsche is more than I’d spend on a used California...)

Bloody women. A Cali T vs a panamera is a no brainer IMHO. I think you would find both the 4S and Panamera a step down in terms of theatre vs the GTS. Surely you don’t need to order the Panamera on release? Can’t imagine a 4S or one of those would be hard to get.

To be fair she wanted one herself and I made her get an SUV in order to transport my dog. So it seemed rather ungracious when she said “why don’t you get one” to say no.

Panamera GTS is not easily available yet but it wasn’t really intended as a Mas replacement. More our last roll of the dice at having a new proper luxury car. If I sold the Mas I’d get an older model Bentley Continental GT
