An interesting development is Audi's electric supercharger,( IIRC is made by Borg Warner) that is self contained, and could be placed in the air box area of the car. Draws 7kw @ 48v (9.33 hp) and could be used intermittently as needed for power. Anyone have any experience with these?

What's the power hike from that?

If you can get 685bhp from a 2.5L straight 5, 650 from a 4.7L V8 shouldn’t be that difficult. The company that did mine would most probably be interested in mapping it if we get the hardware sorted.

I don't know, as I have yet to see a compressor map for that unit. IMO, without a reduction in CR a 5psi boost would be about the upper limit, however, that would translate into roughly a 33% increase in power( about 600bhp). The BW unit is called the eBooster (and is not the Audi unit), they are all being used on turbo diesel ICEs to reduce turbo lag. The intriguing thing is that they are self contained, no mechanical (power) connection to the engine, small, and could be added pretty simply.
Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks. What I think is unlikely to be any help to anyone! I was about to say this couldn't make a more than 9.whatever hp increase. Then (some level) of sanity kicked in....

I am not any kind of expert.

Did we get anywhere with a Stradale supercharger kit manufacturer. ? I tried Novitec, but they have finished with the supercharger kit, which is stupidly expensive, anyway.. If there is a kit, at a sensible price and enough of us want one, I will gladly purchase. PS I am selling my TPS Supercharger kit off my Porsche 993RS for circa £1200, and it whacked the BHP up from 300 to 353, documented by Ninemeister .

Try TTS (see my post above from last year). It seems they use Rotrex and will look at bespoke installations. They have a good rep. Looking at their website, I wouldnt expect cheap, but a lot less than Novitec. Worth a chat with them

Things move on, electric superchargers are starting to be popular.
Matt Armstrong, of YouTuber fame, who is doing a Liberty Walk Maserati GT, also has a Lamborghini Gallardo which he is adding a pair of electric hairdryers...
