Went down to my local main dealer today and put myself on the waiting list. They have one deposit and I have said that once they have a handful, to call me and I will put my money where my mouth is as they say.

Watch this space!

Yes, for the Alfieri.

I do want a QP Greg, but as I now have two Gransports, might have scuppered that plan for now!

Will likely sell one of the GS but not sure which one yet. Will play with both for a few weeks and see what my heart says!

Am hearing the Alfieri will only have the V6 turbo from the Ghibli, is that right?

Thats pretty much guaranteed I recon. At the price point they are suggesting of £60-70k it won't be the V8 as I recon they will keep that for the new GranTurismo and there is no other logical engine.

Has anyone received any definitive information on price yet. Im aware of what people are guessing but imo the car will not be selling for the same price as a GS did back in 2008.

Evo and PH both reporting around a 60-65k start before options. It will be the v6 at least at first but as it looks to be 200kg lighter than an FType coupe, that may well be enough engine for some fun.

If they can bring it in with at £65k I reckon it will sell like hots cakes. May even be a waiting list, so get your name down, by one of the first run it for 3 months and sell it for more than you paid :)

It looks like it'll be a real delight, my local dealer said that the model that has been doing the rounds at shows including the Goodwood Festival Of Speed is built on a chasis from another car in the group (I assume a Ferrari, Fiat or even a Chrysler maybe?) and the finished car will be shorter with a shorter wheelbase. The new GT is coming in 2017 I understand
