No GPS signal

Slight issue with the new Ghibli. On collecting from the dealer yesterday it was apparent that the head unit is not receiving any GPS data (map showing Exeter, I was in Peterborough), and on the where am I fucntion the signal strength bar was reading 0. Also the synced clock wasnt reading the correct time.
Anyway, has anyone else had similar?

Try what I always do. Disconnect and reconnect the battery. Be sure to read the process in the handbook, and don't open or close any doors whilst the battery is disconnected as obviously the windows drop feature won't be working.

I think they tried that. I will try again though before I book it into Leeds.
Its only 14 months old and I got the selling dealer to email me saying it will be covered under warranty and if not they'll sort.

Ex drug dealers car and they switched off the where am I function? Better check under the seats for powder!

Hope you get it sorted without issue. :) Minor glitch.

Suggest the NIT is not receiving a signal from the GPS antenna. Had the same when I installed GPS in my first 4200 before the antenna arrived off ebay.

I have looked all over for a GPS off button, but cant see one. The fact that the GPS synced clock is totally wrong points at no signal from antenna (as Safrane said)

What’s she like though? Looks a nice colour rather than the forum favourite grey with grey and more grey.
