They aren’t a Stradale...Maserati bought this model out with the Stradale body but never called it a Stradale as its not a full fat Stradale....No carbon breaks, different gear box and I think it has the same power as a Grancab Sport. I do think it may have had the suspension set up though And maybe faster gear changes but not sure about that....t’s sort of a Luke warm Stradale....

Yes, it was an odd one as they used the two seater pre facelift 2 scoop bonnet instead of the carbon 3 scoop bonnet used on the 4 seater Stradale, even though the Grancab MC was offered after the 2 seater Stradale's production ended

Yep - before I bought my Strad I had one of these (but in black). For a while I kept both.

The Cabrio has the Strad body kit, with the bonnet from the 2-seat version, and the Strad suspension. But is an auto (with paddles) and normal brakes. So its not a full-fat Strad without a roof.

I found that on the roads around me, the suspension was too firm, given the roof had been cut off. The suspension on my coupe Strad is fine, but on the convertible version it felt crashy. If I were buying another GranCrabrio, I think I'd buy a standard Sport version instead.

Nice indeed!
Went live on Autotrader Tuesday lunchtime, I had a bit of an emotional crisis around 2.30 and paid a deposit about teatime.
It's Blu Sophisticato so a fair bit lighter than the ad pics. It's a stonking colour scheme with blue hood and contrast stitching and tridents in the seats. No carbon at all. No Bose. But it's rocking MC FLARES! Suspension's had over 3 grand spent on it, been serviced 3 times, 4 nearly new Pirellis... but it's had 4 or 5 owners. Finance needs clearing, private plate needs to come off, needs MOTing and seat bolster connollising before balance is paid, the selling dealer seems very upfront and easy to deal with. Subframe rust, oil leaks and brakes are problem areas that are still unknowns at the moment but I'll find out in due course. I am assuming discs need doing - it's had pads recently - and from the video I've seen the discs are definitely lipped. Haven't seen it in the flesh yet! Yes I'm insane. If it breaks I'll just sit and look at it.
I should rename my 'looking for a 20k GTS' newbie thread I think...
