This beauty flagged up on my Autotrader app this morning: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201909061936632?model=QUATTROPORTE&radius=1500&postcode=rh16dn&make=MASERATI&sort=datedesc&fuel-type=Petrol&keywords=GTS&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=Used&advertising-location=at_cars&year-from=2008&page=1

Seems to be a good buy at that price, although it doesn't say much about the service history (nor whether its a post-VARIATOR fix). Rear vents seem to be broken also (I can't take credit for spotting that one..), but well worth checking out if anyone's in the market for a GTS...

I can tell you if this was about when I bought mine a month ago, I would have went to view with the intent to buy!

Looks lovely. The front discs are heavily ridged so probably need replacing.

What else at that sort of money gives you that presence? I prefer black cars with a contrasting interior color but could live with that quite easily. Alloys are in a sad state.

Potential bargain.

Agree - a heck of a lot of car but Alloys in shocking nick, rear ashtray surround gone, rear ashtray vent broken & no mention of service history. Might need a bit spent to being it back up to scratch but lovely spec

Now that is lovely. Such a rare car. Get those discs and alloys sorted and it would be just the ticket although hi-resolution pictures probably hide some blemishes. Why do so many QP’s have leather missing frim the corners of the centre console in the rear. This one has both corners and that would bug the **** out of me. I take it that’s passengers putting there feet up on it. I would chop their legs off it it was my car.

Price wise it's hard to say as prices are all over the place....There is one for sale at 27k which has been around for a while now, a white one at 31k and that blue one at 24k which we know had many issues when it was for sale last year......but we also now that lovely grey one was for sale at 19k and there have been a few more go for very low 20's. 25k sounds right if the discs and alloys are done maybe. But then they don't come up for sale often.

Engine no. Is 148637.
...which from memory is not a post-variator fix engine number, so I’d be definitely looking to see if the work had been carried out as part of its history. And indeed, listening for that brief engine bay rattle upon engine startup.

Was about to say it would be worth talking to Dicky first as may have seen or heard of the car.

Lovely looking in those pictures, but in all likelihood this is a £30k car - c. £25 to buy and another £4-5 to put it “right”, assuming it needs a service, brakes, and various odds and ends. I also see it’s got sticky switches/sticky soft touch surfaces

Anyone interested should check those front subframes

Hoping it goes to a good home

Nice. If someone wants a black 4.7 GTS with black leather, rather than a blue, grey or white car, then this is your only choice!
Who knows when another may come up. Low miles too.

It’s a bit light on information though, and why do dealers specifically take a picture of each wheel when they are all in such a shabby state?
Granted, a wheel refurb is the least of your worries on a Maserati, the big silvery bits behind are much more expensive, as are the rubbery bits on them, which look a bit low too.

However, if its all going to done as part of the sale and the history stacks up then great.

I wouldn't say it is cheap really. Buy it at 25k and spend some money that will need spending and you can easily drop 5-10k and more in a short time. I'd want to be buying at 20k max in the current and future climate.

Dealer probably did spend 20k for it, probably less actually, unless it’s SOR of course.
Still, if it’s a basically good car, at the end of the day it’s a low mileage 4.7 GTS, a very rare car, and the best QP ever made, for the price of a similar age 4.2 granturismo, a nice car but not so special IMHO.

Just looked at the pics on a pc.....this doesn't look a well loved car - so I would expect to spend a few grand to bring it up to scratch....

Negotiation points, surely? I wouldn't expect anyone to pay full ticket until there was some movement on the price/work carried out to address the above...
