Two services from new if I read that right......Shouldn't it have 4 if every two years ? Or 4th one now...……….OK so that would mean its missed one service then....Suppose the next question is ...Would it need a service every two years with so little miles......Probably more so maybe....

That’s cheap, but it’ll need to be, I’d be surprised if it passed a ppi having had 2 services in 8 years.

I know the dealer. As a general rule the cars they sell are spot on. They've a very good reputation within the Jaguar community.

Whereas I have a very dim view of the dealer based upon a potential Ferrari purchase. Long story short, it wasn't as good as they claimed and when I pulled out after a PPI they were not very nice.

I always surprised that people by a £100k car and baulk at spending c £800 on a service because of low use?!?

Even more so in this case when it is a two year cycle.

So £1,600 saved in service costs but £10k lost due to poor history.

Agreed - this makes no sense to me either.

I think 2 years is too long between oil changes to be honest.

Having said that it could still be a very nice car, unless it lived outside in a seaside town....

I predict it will sell quickly though like most 4.7 GTS’s. Especially with the low mileage.

Right so my thoughts we probably what most are saying. I would prefer a car with 50k on the clock and serviced regularly than this....Probably save 5kish as well. Saying that not many have cone up for sale lately.

People are clearly pitching these low mileage GTS’s too low!
That’s the last 2 sold now before the dealers even have chance to get the pictures up!

So is it just the colour of the white one at R&W stopping it selling? I recall someone commenting the dealer isn't great but surely that's not the reason?

I guess so. They seem to be asking a premium for the rare colour. This would be fine if the rare colour was highly sought after, but I don’t think white is highly sought after on a quattroporte.

The fancy metallic red, forget its name, on the car romans sold a while back, now that would command a premium I would guess.

I saw that come up today too.

Interesting bit of trivia attached from when I had Voicey inspect it...

Must be a unicorn in blue, surely? If you were only looking for a blue one and were willing to rescue it...
You’d change the plate, surely?

The colour and the fact it’s a GTS is what drew me to it... externally it’s gorgeous, Blu Oceano suits it beautifully. Parts of the window trim were noticeably new on one side... and thicker paint evidence of a prior accident or damage of some description.

I happen to like the interior which I figure could be construed as marmite... wooden trimmings for the gentleman that likes to travel at speed!

When I saw her the rear tyres were balding, the discs and pads in need of replacement, general signs of neglect and cost cutting. That said this was all a few years ago... mind you, the pics on Autotrader are lifted from last year!

With a new subframe (and numberplate), she’d be a stunner once more.

Not sure how accurate this is but is a list of colours of 09-13 QP 4.7 GTS registered in the uk from new. Green appears to be the most unicornish of colours if true!
