Zagato are always 50:50 in my eyes, that’d explain why the facelifted 166 is butt ugly then!

I mean you could make the argument that the facelift is a bit 'safe' and 'boring' – I call it handsome. That's actually my old car, which is somehow now the main image on the 166 Wikipedia page ?! – but butt ugly? Compared to the controversial original?

The problem for the 147 GTA is that there are lot of Japanese automatic cars that have sat around for literal years at a car emporium up north that continue to deflate the market.
Yes years, i don't think anyone wants the selespeed ones.

I thought the 166 facelift was an upgrade because even though I loved the original 166 to drive I never came to terms with the pinched light grille set-up. The facelift although a bit clumsy was much better resolved, maybe a tad blotted but don't most of us go that way as we get older.

I really thought the original design was one of the best looking executive saloons of its time. A 3.0 Super in Nuvola Blue with blue interior please.

I like them both!
Had a 3.2 facelift. A very nice car.
This thread is prompting me to get my 147GTA back on the road too, been SORN for a year.

Slightly tangentially. Does anyone want this VHS video from the launch of the 164. I’ll pay postage (in the UK). image.jpgimage.jpg

Surprisingly Mrs Z didn't say no she just asked for the full costs - I think she has a soft spot for the 166 it was the first family car we bought together
REAL costs or the costs we tell our OH about..... usually 2 completely different things ;) Fingers crossed whichever costs you use, that they stack up!
