Presumably because of their Exeter location, F-Tech used to offer a very good value trailer service, for collecting/delivering cars to and from there place for servicing. The cost was little more than the cost of the diesel and wear-and-tear on the Disco that pulled the trailer. If you could arrange something similar I'm sure you'd pick up business from wider afield. Taking my cars to and from their various garages, and then arranging lifts/taxis/trains etc is the biggest downside of ownership. Indeed, even though I'm already based in Dorset I find the trips to and from Emblem a bit of a chore.

Best wishes and good luck with your new venture. I'm anxiously awaiting the opening of your US location near San Antonio, Texas! (One can hope!)

This made me chuckle... no offence meant at all, but this may be one of the better examples of a 1st world problem that I’ve seen for a while...

Only last Saturday I used that very phrase myself when my 9 year old daughter complained that her changing room in the pool house was too hot!

Having to stand next to Miss World because she asks for a selfie is another of life’s little chores...

You look pretty in a crown, Ewan, but that Miss World has let herself go.

PS - how is it a selfie if someone’s else takes it? Or perhaps one of you has seriously opposable toes.

Good luck with this - here at AV we are wishing you all the best.

I see you are currently running VAT free. People should book in work now as running under the VAT threshold cannot last and won't be repeated.

Cheers Voicey, thats appreciated.

I am sure you will all join me in wishing Ashley congratulations at the birth of a new baby boy at 04:00 this morning.

Not a straight forward birth but mother and baby doing well.

He assures me he will be back in the workshop tomorrow afternoon to which I told him he's mad. We purposely did not take many booking this week so I would prefer him to be at home up to his elbows in nappies!

Well, it was inevitable and only a matter of time I guess...

It must be some four crazy weeks ago that Ashley, Ryan and I had our first meeting. To say the dominos aligned is an understatement.

It seemed the perfect time and fit.

I am utterly proud to announce the formation of www.SportsItalia.co.uk and thank our sponsors for their continued support on this matter.

For those whom are unaware, Ashley, Ryan and myself have formed a new specialist service centre on the South Coast aimed firmly at service and support of our three favourite brands:

Alfa Romeo
Maserati
Ferrari

Where I will be concentrating on customer service, Ashley and Ryan will provide the technical expertise.

For those in the know, Ashley needs no further introduction. Many will be aware of his 16 years main dealer and specialist experience. Factory trained from 3200 to La Ferrari.

SportsItalia.co.uk boast all the specialist tools to undertake diagnostic, service and repair of your cherished vehicle.

We have Diagnosi and EVO factory diagnostics on site along with all the factory tooling to fully support your vehicle.

Introductory forum discounted labour rates from £75ph down to £55ph available and no VAT for a limited period.

I do trust that forum members will support us along side our forum sponsors providing another avenue for reliable and trustworthy service.

Congratulations Conaero and guys!! The timing seems fortuitous, as my car needs a service!! I have sent you a message via your website. I am in surrey, was wondering if you can let me know how long you would need the car etc many thanks

Congratulations on your venture guys.
And to Ashley. Very glad everyone's doing well.
In a world where the US President makes serious enquiries about using nukes to disperse hurricanes,
its a relief to be able to take vicarious pleasure from happy events, closer to home ;)
