Well, it was inevitable and only a matter of time I guess...

It must be some four crazy weeks ago that Ashley, Ryan and I had our first meeting. To say the dominos aligned is an understatement.

It seemed the perfect time and fit.

I am utterly proud to announce the formation of www.SportsItalia.co.uk and thank our sponsors for their continued support on this matter.

For those whom are unaware, Ashley, Ryan and myself have formed a new specialist service centre on the South Coast aimed firmly at service and support of our three favourite brands:

Alfa Romeo
Maserati
Ferrari

Where I will be concentrating on customer service, Ashley and Ryan will provide the technical expertise.

For those in the know, Ashley needs no further introduction. Many will be aware of his 16 years main dealer and specialist experience. Factory trained from 3200 to La Ferrari.

SportsItalia.co.uk boast all the specialist tools to undertake diagnostic, service and repair of your cherished vehicle.

We have Diagnosi and EVO factory diagnostics on site along with all the factory tooling to fully support your vehicle.

Introductory forum discounted labour rates from £75ph down to £55ph available and no VAT for a limited period.

I do trust that forum members will support us along side our forum sponsors providing another avenue for reliable and trustworthy service.

Good luck. A bit far for me for routine stuff, but you never know where and when our Italian mistresses may throw a tantrum lol, so good to know. :)

Thank you chaps. Out of respect for the other forum sponsors we won’t be going ‘hard sell’ on this forum. Granted this thread will bumble on for a few weeks and we will have a banner ad but it’s been decided that the forum and the workshop will remain very separate.

I have an announcement regarding one of our sponsors that I will be making shortly. I tried hard to retain them but alas we could not ultimately agree.

I know in the past Matt, we have discussed your aspirations for a body/trim shop so it was a little surprise for me whin you told me about this development but having had time to think on it I believe it is the very best option for you. I truly wish you and your partners the very best success.

Covered transport seems to be a key element to many members and would open services to further afield.

Thank you Newton and yes, purchasing our own covered transport is part of the three pieces of the jigsaw identified along with our own AC and tyre/balancing machine later in the year. For now we will use external companies. The investment in kit so far is eye watering, Diagnosi (3200/4200/QP5/GT) and EVO (Ghib/QP6/Levante) factory diagnostics plus we have the factoryFez/Maz front and rear subframe/engine/transmission jig and all the bush and hub factory jigs making QP/GT bush replacement simple.

Having only been open 3 weeks so far and without any advertising we already have in:
3200 - new engine
4200 - clutch
F430 - gearbox 3rd gear synchro/suspention
F360 & F355 cambelt service

Good luck chaps. Couple of typos in the text on the website Matt, but otherwise looks great!
Poached Ashley from Emblem then...... he's a great guy.

Does Ryan get an introduction?
On the About Us page.

Ryan is working on more domestic stuff which is basically the daily cars that all the Sports car owners seem to have.

He is working with Ashley and learning fast but Alfa brand is where he will specialise.

ll go through it feel free to PM me, it’s been a whirlwind month.

Regarding Ashley I would like to put the record straight. No I did not poach him, more so he poached me. We’ve only known each other a matter of weeks and we are equal directors (pending application).

Ashley and Ryan were already setup and running when my brother introduced us.

Things just all slotted into place and it felt a perfect fit for all parties.

Ditto all the 'all the best' comments - even tho i'm in Worcestershire, if my mechanic can't sort my current issue I could well be in touch. And if it is sorted I could well consider an overall health check (if nothing else, a trip to Chichester would be a great run out to a childhood stomping ground)
