Hello all,

I am now the proud owner of a delightful 2008 GT in excellent condition, 64k miles. It is well known on this board although I can't recall the board name of the previous owner. Based in UK SP3 postcode if anyone wants to meet up sometime?

Welcome to the madness mate. Whilst I welcome you to the fold, and applaud your good taste, I hope you didn't buy it on a tight budget. Owning an 'older' Maserati is like playing Russian Roulette with an M1911 Colt automatic. The thing to remember is, however hard it bites you, keep the faith and worship the Trident. We've (almost) all been there, and it's the idiots with the thickest skin that keep them the longest. Fyi, I've had mine (a 4200) for 12 years and I'm one of the sanest on here, and only a tw4t will disagree.

A few of us usually go to the relevant breakfast meets at Wilton House, so hopefully see you there.

BTW, from your location, your nearest/best options for any work required on the car are Emblem in Poole and SportsItalia near Southampton.
