I personally think that the number of owners on cars such as these is not necessarily a bad thing. Because of the type of car it is, its not really a car the general public would stumble upon to get from A to B and run into the ground and neglect, you'd have to want one to get one. If a car had say 5 owners over a 10 year period the way I see it, is that its effectively had 5 honeymoon periods where generally it will have wanted for nothing until the owner falls out of love with it and it gets sold on to the next person who has their honeymoon period with the car, and so on.. Of course there is always exceptions.. Just my 2 pence.

I've never really understood the one owner fascination. What if that one owner was a terrible owner, lol? The more owners, the more likely its had some money thrown at it on a whim, whereas one owner for along time is perhaps more likely to try to keep their costs down overall in the face of depreciation. Just my opinion.
