Just bought my first and won't be last Maserati and metallic Black Gransport - liking it already feels very special alongside a 911 ! I am after some advice on whether to have a play with the exhaust ie. X pipe, stage 2 cat delete and different rear silencers? Also dooes anyone know where I can get poly bushes for it as looking at upgrading them all over the winter ? And lastly silicone pipes in black as well - best place to buy ?
Thanks in advance Paul

Welcome, and yes to having a play with the exhaust. I'd leave the back boxes (as they are switchable anyway), but replace the cats and fit an X or H pipe. An X or H pipe on its own makes only a minor difference (but is cheap to do).

Congrats! I'm fairly new into GS ownership... have a read through the threads on the differences between Euro and US-spec headers (the latter having pre-cats), which may influence you in terms of which way you go with your exhaust mods. There is a great thread on here from a few years back by JonW.

Very warm welcome, there are lots of options on exhausts, x-pipe is a bit more crackly, all the way to gutted rear boxes and cat deletes which are really, really, ridiculously loud.

As for poly bushes, as you will find out, the bushes are a flanbloc design so are already very stiff so no-one makes poly bushes.

Welcome, and on top of what others have said there is no silicone hose kit available for the 4200/GS

Welcome from another black GS owner.

Not sure polymath upgrade would be recommended as the suspension and tyres/wheels already make for a very firm ride.
