Thanks Sam, I've just started it and battery was OK, took the second start up to get EPB off. The park off button does work but it doesn't deactivate the EPB unfortunately. I look forward to using a trickle in future ad giving a whole days charge to see if that helps the EPB deactivate upon ignition.

New problem, This button has always been loose and now it's fallen off into my hand. Cheapest on ebay is £199 delivered for the whole unit but it's in beige. My interior in black.

Or I wonder if you could just swap the knob from a QP one?

Good morning one ball, (I've got 2 but they're rarely used)

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me find a cheaper alternative., but before I order it, assuming a QP one does work wouldn't this be roughly the same price?
I used to enjoy using a breakers yard for my older, less exotic manufactured cars, is there a Maserati equivalent?

I suggested a QP only because they’re more likely to be in a breakers yard as they’ve been around longer.

The lightest dab of glue will do the trick. Worked on mine.

This just makes me smile! its so OTT!!! but... jut about pulls it off!!
is that grey detailing either side of the bonnet bulge? that's what maybe breaks up all the gold...
No it's black but does look grey, it's needed also due to disguising where the vinyl wrap joins.

I did plan to take the wrap off but my kids would kill me, I really don't like the navy blue underneath. I'll grow up one day

Does anyone have or know of someone who has one of these?

They seem about £3-500 on all other cars then £1000+ on a GTS.

I've wanted one for ages but the price seems disgusting, all from china and reports of poor fitment too, as well as £300 delivery.
Anyone got one or know of anyone? BUMP

Afternoon gents.
SRS airbag light has been on for a while now.i got round to taking it to a garage and I've been passed on to a third garage now. The code reads 'front passenger side airbag second stage' any idea where this is. We have the door card off but to no avail. Cheers

passenger airbag switch most likely. Swap it, they are cheap and then try and clear the code

Unfortunately I think it might not be that simple.

Some front airbags have two stages, the explosive charge and a second stage gas canister.

The system does a continuity check of the operating mechanism and this is what I think the error is referring to. It could be a loose wire to the gas canister or it could be a failed canister. It’ll be behind the dash.

Good morning and thanks for your replies. After learning is wasn't the front side 1 on the dash, nor the one in the door card, nor the passenger seat, nor the rear passenger side we found the culprit. It was the one under the glove box, it turned out it was where the metal prongs were touching it was causing the car to throw such code. So luckily no parts required but 4 hours labour which garage charged £120, reduced to £100 as he's working on the Scooby tomorrow. I hope this will help someone/people taking the whole left hand side of the car apart in the future.

Welcome to the forum Smiffy, it is indeed a good introduction for a new member :)

Your gold chrome wrap is not to my taste sorry - I am two years younger than you so it is not age related but at least I am not being rude about it (yes I read the whole thread).

Regarding the price of your wrap it would have indeed been quite expensive. Chrome wraps cost more in terms of material per metre as you mentioned but also fitting the stuff is an absolute bast@rd because Chrome wrap does not stretch like matte or pearlescent wrap so it takes more time and skill to install especially on a curvy car like the GranTourismo

Would I buy a wrapped car? Depends on the wrap, I don't mind the pearlenscent wraps but generally hate any matte finish on a car. There was that blue chrome wrapped GranTourismo on the market a little while ago which I did look at more than one time however I do like having real paint and clear coat lacquer to adorn so the colour underneath would have to be something other than black, dark blue, silver (which are all UK resale colours) as I would eventually take the wrap off to enjoy the new paint underneath

Anyway... forumer has stuck a direct port Nitrous system in their manual 4200 and seems to be a good way to gain 150+ BHP for £5k if you don't mind sacrificing some room for a bottle of laughing gas - I wonder if you have to put one of those stickers on your car stating that you are carrying pressurised canisters lol
Was the blue chrome one in good condition?
