This is correct and I do agree. I do like a lot of standard colours - each to their own I guess. The wrap "apparently" cos 11k, my local firm said they'd do it for 7k. Either way it seems a shame to tear it off, it could even be hiding something seriously ugly like a Man Utd badge.
The chaps I bought my QP off had some wrapped cars, looked very good but they said it costs from €1500 for basic wrap, to €2000 with all hidden bits wrapped too. And this is Ireland, where everything is super-expensive...

A proper respray would cost less than 11k or even 7k...

Well I agree with you that it probably didn't cost 11k, I expect to be lied to by a car salesman. But the 7k quote is what Autovision said in Lowestoft due to it being Avery Gold Chrome. Your figures sound too cheap, Autovision said a normal wrap costs them £35 per metre, yet gold chrome is £120 per metre for them to buy. Either way as said before I wouldn't put it on (I would've chosen white or black - maybe grey) but it wasn't priced as though it had a £xxxx wrap on it hence I went for it.

It's a marmite colour that's for sure. If my horses keep running like pigs at York this afternoon the car will be for sale by the end of the day!! :(

11k....surely not....if they paid that they seen them coming. Thought a wrap was 2/3k Max.

£250! now that's a bargain. I would've had that for over £1,000 - it's perfect!

I'm in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Sorry if I come across as a Colin Mcrae wannabe, I really don't expect much but another 5/10% for a few k was all I was asking about. My 2 boys were so excited when they heard it revving in neutral then less so after the ride. I'm not knocking these at all. During my 3 week wait for the car, as I work from home, I literally watched hundreds of Youtube Review video's all saying the same as yourselves. BTW my Impreza looks terrible next to the Maser ( that is their nickname right?). I envy you all for being long term Maserati owners and look forward to using this forum a lot and maybe even meeting some of you assuming that's what happens. Just be sure to bring your sunglasses
I’ll keep my eyes open for you then, as you’re very close to me. There’s only a few owners over here. Two Ghiblis and another GT that I know in addition to my 3200.

A full PPF wrap would be about £3k, if that's any guide. If you want a new colour about the same, depending on the level of detail. For example, doors off and fully wrapped on the more 'hidden' surfaces you'll be paying more. For £11k I'd want actual gold. Or Natalie Portman to be waiting inside afterwards.

If I see you and wave please wave back. My Mrs thinks it's hilarious when I get mugged off waving and getting blanked in the Scoob

Welcome, I have the facelift granturismo sport 4.7 with slightly higher bhp 455-460 and definitely doesnt feel slow. Fair enough its not like my GT-R but doesn't feel any slower than my old n/a c63 amg did. I will be taking my car to dms along with supersprint race cats and oversized link pipes, filters etc. They said figures would be around 505bhp to 510bhp. Extra 55-60bhp am struggling to see how I couldn't feel that. I got a extra 70 from my c63 and it was a lot more lively and alert. Enjoy it

Hi Danny, I like where this is going a lot.

Firstly I've heard c63 amg's are lightning quick yet you're saying it's only GTS quick??

How much is this costing you and where is this DMS?, as already mentioned on the thread - going up to 500bhp has been reported as pointless (maybe this is due to a loss of torque) but I'm liking the sound of the extra 10%, I'm also wondering if mine has an issue and isn't anywhere near to where it should be. Maybe a health check would be a good start. My 2 impreza mates find it funny how I've spent so much on a slower second car - knob heads haven't heard it yet though.

For the record this afternoon I done my brains in at York, but on the plus side I've booked car in to be detailed in September locally. And the Impreza getting some tlc too down Essex beforehand ( If anyone cares )

I love that it exists. I wouldn’t drive it (am too shy) and wouldn’t park it outside my house, but I’m pleased that you’ve got it and I loook forward to seeing it in the flesh.
