Loved my first week, after 36k miles in a Range Rover Sport, plagued by dealer visits and breakdowns! Whatever the press say the interior quality is better than my old 2016 RRS and although it isn't as quick the power is much more linear. Graypaul, Birmingham were great to buy from and a much higher than expected experience. Lets hope the next 3 years are as good as the 1st week. Only minor gripes so far are rear wiper doesn't automatically activate with reverse gear, rear hatch touchless is hit & miss plus Apple Car Play in phone handsfree can throw a wobbly which can only be reset by stopping car mid journey switching off and back on again. Look forward to reading what others experiences are....

How is the size and seating position compared to the RRS? Does the Levanti S sound like a proper Maserati?

It's not quite the full GranTurismo gloriousness but it pops and bang and growls. The steering was too light for my tastes (prefer the Stelvio in D mode, but then that's aimed at a different type of buyer IMO), and the interior is a little tighter than an RRS. But then I am 6ft5...

Sorry to disappoint the enthusiast members but it is a diesel and it had a handful of miles on the clock, which knocked a huge discount off the full spec OTR price (see attached). I agree its not as big inside vs the RRS although I thinks its external footprint is larger. I have read complaints about the offset pedals which seem fine for me although someone told me the pedals are adjustable albeit haven't found our how yet. I think the steering is as good as the RRS, although I am slowly getting used to the lane assist feedback which is new for me.
I will post images once we get some clear weather and its shining again!

Congrats, look forward to seeing some photos.

I’m beginning to think the Levante is the choice of the current Maserati range

Do they sell the petrol in the U.K.? I remember something about them not being available here.

Welcome to the fold. I recently swapped my Ghibli S for a 2018 Levante S. Took it on a trip down to the Pyrenees the day after pick up am am loving it.

I’ve had a couple of CarPlay issues but fixed them with a phone restart rather than the car. Do you have the foot swipe for the rear hatch?

I thought the rear wipers not having an auto was a pain, especially with the reach around on the paddles to get to it.

Thanks and yes have the foot swipe but haven't got the 'knack' right yet so only managing to get it 10% of attempts, then using key!

Totally agree with auto rear wiper, shame really given its been a practise of so many others for year now. Minor glitch though!!

My car had G-Techniq Platinum Crystal treatment provided by dealer at no cost to me but therefore didn't come with any aftercare products. Does anyone have experience with this and if so what advice can you offer for ongoing washing and any treatments to maintain its performance?

I've got partial PPF over mine but plan on getting it ceramic coated when I can get it booked in with my local chap. I had the Ghibli coated and used Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam on it. Once I'd got the hang of putting it on the dry car, working bottom to top, leaving it, and spraying off with filtered water, it was great. I could wash the Ghibli in 15 minutes and it looked great. As the Levante doesn't have the coating on it, I'm back to using two buckets after the foam.
