Hi, I am going to join the Maserati Club Jan 2019 as I am going to buy my first one. I love the shape of the Cambiocorsa 4.2 and will be looking to buy one of these. My budget is around the 2004 reg and I prefer automatic, the only colour criteria I have is not Black or White. I would really welcome any help and tips. I am so excited, after many years of persuading the wife, that she has agreed.

Well done, and welcome!

Others with much more experience of the cars will comment, but I can remember having this feeling about 2 yrs ago.... and this forum is a great place to help turn the excitement into reality.

I can highly recommend Rosso Mondiale, think it suits the shape perfectly (just my very biased opinion)!

If you are UK based have a chat with Richard Grace.

2004 budget is tricky as the price for a car of that year could start at £12k and go to £20k depending on history and condition.

Welcome aboard Eddy, great guys here and a wealth of information. I'm a toddler in the Maserati camp, it will be a year in December since I purchased my 4200 and love it.

Keep in mind when you say your preference is for 'automatic' that the cambiocorsa is an automated manual which has a few nuances to say the least. Many love them but some never get on with them. However it is the only choice (other than proper manual which is a rare beast).

Tons of advice on here, suggest you use the search function and read all you can first about the various experiences of ownership on this excellent forum.
