So, just got back from ES...
Have been informed that certain parts are only released by the factory to authorized dealers...
ES would not be able to supply the service book as the factory would not supply it to them,
so although they list this (and possibly ALL) part(s) on their website there are some things that
you can only get from a main dealer...
Regards,
Enzo.
(am sure this applies not only to Eurospares, but all independents)

My car was supplied with 2 books...looks like when it was sold as an 'Approved Maserati' they put a second service book with the new owners details in it...but everyone has used the old book to keep the stamps up-to-date

very interesting, a way to keep a premium on certain parts. I can sort of understand it although I don't like it. No point having a premium brand car with cheap parts.

......................not sure, if they come out of a parts bin....or just boxed up differently.......truely reflects the value of the part or just making.....2/3/4/ times the profit on it?

More so if the car gets to be 5/6/7 yrs old and a service and overhaul/replacement of one or two parts is 1/2 value of car.........thats when they go off the road and are lost forever......
