Hi all, finally got round to posting on this wonderful forum.
loved the QP V since the day it was launched, but always too scared to own one.
last month this car came up....
I love green cars, so went to have a look, and bought it on the spot. love the combo of deep emerald with choco interior with wood.....not the usual interior of the GTS.
what I did not fully realise until I drove it was the exhaust note and gear changes.....WOW!!! I was smitten.
I have a Ferrari F12 and later in the year was going to add a GTC4 lusso as it has 4 seats...but the GTS has more then taken it place.
I have been trawling this site, as I have over the past 3 weekend done a FULL service ie every serviceable item, including full gearbox oil/filter with the upgraded metal sump, and full underseal+ F/R subframes by Shiltech,
I am really fortunate, as I am only 10 min from Shiltech, who are such a knowledgable and friendly bunch...
this site has been invaluable with at breadth of info and support it has......
many thanks 105650

Welcome, it’s a smashing car, what year and mileage is it? A few interior pics would be appreciated as well as a sunny pic to see the colour :)

think the experience firsthand is something else watched all the vids of the Maserati, never heard anyone give it the beans when I have had the pleasure of seeing one on the road.

I nearly bought it as a keeper, you beat me to it. Probably the cheapest one ever available so good on you for bagging bargain of the century.

Lovely car, congratulations and welcome to the group. By the way the S8 on the back of the picture looks very nice, is that yours too?

many thanks for your welcome...
2011 50k miles
got a stage 2 polish last week...
the colour is almost flip.......in direct Sun its a metallic green, stand further away its a blueish green....the pictures do not really convey the colour very well. but in the flesh it subtly enhances the curves and hips ...

yes the iconic S8 2002 ( in green!!) ..which to me is also another car that is a masterclass in design...

Glorious and very handsome in green. I think your rear seat passengers will thank you too. There’s not much room in the back of the 4 seat Ferraris. We did a 2500 mile trip to Italy this summer with the nearly six foot teenagers in the back. No complaints and they still giggle when the windows come down in a tunnel and the Sport button is pushed.

What a great choice!! I too have a very soft spot for Green cars (since my Forest Green 993) but fear they are unicorns at Maserati so well done finding yours.
Keep it in Sport and enjoy....

At some point I would appreciate an owners comparison of the QPV with the S8. These two are my two top sedans ever made.

I had a 2002 S8 but it was a long time ago! very well made but a bit short on torque hence the short gearing. Heavy in the nose (not mid engined like the QPV) so understeer is the order of the day.
QPV sounds so much better of course!

Congrats and welcome to the QPV GTS club! Lovely example you have there… your rear blinds and rear climate control are making me green with envy! Haven’t seen many GTS’ with those boxes ticked.

A pic of your Italians together and S8 would be awesome… epic driveway lineup!
