Thank you all for your comments. I am extremely pleased with the purchase!

I'm located in the South, in-between Portsmouth and Southampton. Had a quick look at the events list and the one in April at Beaulieu looks good. Is there anyone else local to me that attends events etc?

The colour combo and wheels really did it for me, although they're 21's so was somewhat unsure how this would effect ride and handling.

Wedding chauffeuring would be interesting never thought about that! That would pay for some tyres

On a side note, is there anyway of getting the wing mirrors to fold upon locking the car automatically, instead of having to press the fold button prior to exiting?

You're handily very close to Sports Italia, who are based in Southampton - if you haven't yet found a trusted specialist to look after your new pride and joy already I'd definitely get in touch with them.

There's a few folks going to Beaulieu, and about 20x of us signed up to attend Italian Car Day at Brooklands on 29th April.

Just FYI - Wedding chauffeuring does require that you purchase specialist wedding insurance if you're going to charge for remuneration! Adrian Flux, Footman James and a handful of others offer this provision... it's fairly expensive though.

Regarding the wing mirror fold mod when locking, there was a thread here buried somewhere of a few QPV/GT owners successfully achieving this - not sure on the QP6 though.

Yes I did get in touch with someone at Sports Italia before purchasing the car just to go through servicing costs and other things like pads and discs etc.

I dont think I'd do chauffeuring
1. I'm not really the type
2. Can't be arsed with taking both of the child seats out every time I get a booking :)

I'll definitely check some dates and see what the family amd I can do!

Looks great!

I’ll be at Beaulieu with my QPV, I think Des is organising an area for this group to park in. Worth checking the thread about it.

I also picked up my QP after an accident in my Porsche and this was the more practical option, so the other half couldn’t complain… they’re ace cars for the family stuff. Mine was on the DadCars YouTube channel as well, showcasing how easy the child seats fit & not having to compromise just because you now have offspring.

Seen that video on YouTube, really enjoyed it. Makes me a little sad we didn’t by a QP now
