New QP configurator online

If, unlike me you are a fan of the new QP, or just want to dream a little, I've just had a note through saying it's now been added to the Maserati configurator section.

Very odd, they have both the old and the new QP on there - the new is under one tab "Quattroporte V8" and the old under the one on the far right "Quattroporte range". They really don't help to eliminate confusion do they....?

just finished configuring mine, start price 77k end price 119,750 and i didnt even take all the options!
ps was the old 4.7 qp not the new tt version!

I have an e-mail from Graypaul telling me that 'The Maserati Quattroporte will start from just £80070...'. Thank god they included the word 'just' in the sentence so I release what value the car offers. Without that subtle use of a little word like that I might have thought that the car was expensive.

WIthout being too rude when it popped up on the configurator in that front three quarter view a picture of a pot bellied pig popped into my head..!!!.........Wonder if you can still order an old QP......If your in the market for one snap an old one up now as it may just be the last great drivers QP.

Think they stopped making the QP last summer but they had been selling in tiny numbers for the previous couple of years.

When a new model comes out most enthusiasts tend to be negative initially but warm with time, happens for all brands. There will be lots of posts next year on the new M3/M4 telling us that the move to a six cylinder turbo is negative etc etc.

As Bob says, they are not making them; but there are a handful of new or very low mileage QP V cars still at dealers: see e.g.

Never get the M3/4 bit bb as they started with 4 cylinders so if thats the case then anything after wasn't a M3....But yes already read stuff from people posting saying its not a M3....Mind you they said that about the V8 and thats a *******...

New one will have people saying it aint good, like the v8 turbo m5 as opposed to a v10 bit its a better car

New M5 is out of this world Dem...The new M3/M4 will be as well......Just look at the M1 Coupe......

The only one I felt a little luck warm towards was E36 M3 but even that was a great car but because it followed the E30 M3 it was always going to be a hard act to follow..Plus they were two very different cars....

The last two M5's have been too heavy and SMG is an acquired taste. People say that the M5 is underbraked as well. Personally I test drove the V10 M5 and it left me cold but that was largely a gearbox issue for me.

V8 QP list price is £108k so £28k more than the V6. That's some delta.

Can I have the new car with the old shell please? The first minute I clapped eyes on the outgoing QP I knew I'd have one. This one leaves me cold.
I still haven't got either of them but that's beside the point!
