It's covered up and camouflaged so don't know how anyone can comment on it untill all that is taken off. Think I will reserve judgement until then.

I don't like the rear lights but the shape looks very promising.

Unfortunately, it will not be a V8 and I can almost guarantee it will be overpriced and under-performing when pitched against comparable 2 seaters :(

Some back end like. So far it’s a no but then when do these spy cars ever really look like the finished product.

Maserati MMXX https://www.motorionline.com/foto/maserati-mmxx-foto-spia-20-11-2019/6/

Not much we can take away from it at this point in terms of styling. I like the front and rear lights.

It has a vent on the side and a stubby bonnet... Will this car be mid-engined? The marketing guff talked about a new era of super performance (or similar)... If it is mid engined then I think it will be less Audi R8 and more the like the current Honda NSX. Of course it could just be smoke and mirrors with the fake body kit

The GranTourismo replacement is coming after so this is going after a different market segment for sure

Love it or hate it I am glad that they will have something to show at Geneva 2020

I read it was the engine they're testing and that therefore the body shape is neither here nor there?

I knew, it... If you stand somewhere long enough, a sensible answer will eventually turn up. Good work that man.

I'm amazed at you naysayers, with your little Britain style "I don't like it" responses. The facts are that it will end up being a pretty car, it will not be as fast as a Ferrari but it'll be no slouch, it will cost less than a Ferrari, and it's finally something new from Maserati.

I don't personally see much to dislike from that list.

Evidently its a Maserati designed, and built, engine and won't appear in anything but Maserati.

It does look like a 4C, or the 4C QV prototype in FCA Heritage, in heavy camo. That would make a good test mule though. I can't see Maserati going for a mid-engined two seater. I would be happy to be proved wrong though.

I think anything new is good news and im quite exited about it tbh.
Why would you test the engine in that shape when you could wack the engine into say a Levante for secret testing.
To put that engine into a mid engined car just to test the engine doesnt make sense (location of cooling parts, batteries, elec motors etc), I think what you see is defo the car Maserati will be releasing.
