New Hood

@Omar is spot on - they have done several 4200 Spyders and aware they are not the easiest but were very thorough and professional and gave me expert advise. There was a bit of lead in time for the hood to arrive from Germany but they kept us fully updated - it sat in a customs warehouse for a bit longer than expected for some random reason........ Maybe not the cheapest, but I think you pay for what you get.

? Was wondering if they used rear plastic screens (Non heated) as i have at present, or do they use glass?
 
I *think* the hood frame is different to accept the glass window.

Yiu can swap the whole frame of course... if you can find one!

I do not see any problem with that, however am about to start a new hobby collecting Hens Teeth, so will look into frames at a later date......

I know you can't have a glass window instead of a plastic one because of the way the frame folds - I think you can get new frames but they are rather pricey - you're best to talk to the experts
 
I remember Emblem swapping a plastic window frame for a glass one and it was a significant job with a rather large bill and that's assuming you can find a glass frame hood
 
Sorry i should have made my self clear.i am quite happy with a plastic rear window,it was on loking at the hood site they were all glass screens, no mention of plastic ones
