Evening all,
A newbie to the forum and newbie to Maserati ownership! Recently just got my new to me;
2012 Med Blue GT Auto S with MC Shift software.
I’ve come from mostly a Porsche 911 ownership consisting of 997 C2s (gen 1), 997 C2s (gen 2) and 997 GTS along with some other high performance cars (Jag XFRS & Audi RS6 running 750bhp) and I have to say that I am massively impressed with the GranTurismo!! The handling and overall ride experience in comparison to the 911 is for me far better, it feels more connected and more stable at higher speeds and the cockpit feels a “nicer” place to be but overall the big winner is the noise!! So much better!!
Currently running some custom sports cats, but will be changing to Larini sports Cats and X-Pipe to increase the sound... Luckily, my uncle is also on this forum (Stuart W) and has the same set up on his Strad, so I know exactly what they will sound like! Or close enough!
Looking forward to getting out to a few events and hopefully meeting a few people!
