Well after a brief search and thanks to the advice given I am now the happy owner of Mark’s Giallo Gransport. Great meeting him and an obvious enthusiast for the brand. Picked the car up today and love it. He did pick me up from the station in his new P&J which is frankly ridiculous how fast it goes (but great fun).
Looking forward to getting to know more about these cars and meet other owners in future meets.
Will post some new pics in a few days.

The man's barking, but that will be an absolute belter of a car. Well done. Excellent choice. You must like yellow :)

PS P&J?

Lol, yes the colour did sell it tbh. I had viewed the dark blue one in London the week before but when I saw the yellow peril I was sold.

Welcome Phil to the forum and glad that the car has a new keeper. You've got a belter there. Be good to see you and the banana at some meeting when we're allowed out.

I think the whole Covid thing has made things worse for niche cars like this. Luckily I am in a position to buy and jumped at the chance once you helpful chaps pointed in the direction of this beauty.
Any Maser owners around Worcester area for a mini meet?

A big well done on your new purchase. Still think this was the most sorted GS for sale. Great colour, great spec, great car......Enjoy.

P&J pride and joy (aka a Bentley supersport)
I hadn’t paid them much attention (I thought it was ‘just’ more power), but writing something about the ex-Rory McIllroy one at BonhamsMPH last month, it’s a very special bit of kit.

Oh and congrats on the purchase!

They do appear to be a major step even from the Speed (which itself is something of a step up from the normal GT)

I’m not sure how much tech made it into subsequent ‘normal’ cars but it’s stuff like the torque split and upgraded gearbox that make it very interesting (to me). I doubt it turns it into an Elise but I’d love to find out...

Congratulations on the purchase, so much history on here with Mark and the car, some big boot to fill Phil! Drive it lots and make it your own, enjoy the grin factor.

Yes - and waiting for Wheels on Wednesday to start up. In the meantime I'll look out for you and you should be pretty easy to spot!
(I too have a Subaru - but mine's a 22 year old Impreza)

Yep I was a regular there in the Alpina. I will be taking the GS to a few though so hopefully bump into you one day. C & M is just a nice distance for a blast out in the evenings also.

Hi Phil & congrats on the new purchase.
We actually met briefly at a Sytner Notingham meet. Mine was the silver E61 B5 Touring with the 520d badge :)
