Have always wanted one of these, and prices now are right for me for a 5th car in the fleet that will only do about 3k dry miles per annum on drives between my UK home in Norfolk and my French one in La Chartre Sur Le Loir in France.

The latter home is a giveaway to my obsession with all things Le Mans and the Hotel De France in my village that was the base for the Aston Martin, Ford GT 40 and Porsche 917 teams from the mid 50's to early 70's. I'm on my 33rd visit to the 24H this year, having first gone in 1986 in an MG Midget. I'm now an AM Vanquish and Porsche owner too, so very open minded re Marques!

Grancab is late 2010, black with the beige leather interior and 32k miles full MDSH. That's my son in the picture...... I'm much older and fatter!

I'll be checking out the forum and things to look out for, but any advice welcome. I know about the variator issue, but my engine number is after the cut off for this issue I think. Good to have found this forum!

Welcome, love a Grancab. There are a few on here that make the pilgrimage to Le Mans as well

Nice. We make a trip to Hotel de France after the race every year. Pop over and say hello - we're the ones with the Maseratis! (and a few Ferrari, Aston and a 335d M Sport support taxi).

Lovely. And a great car for a summer time waft down to France in the sunshine.

If you are likely to be travelling as only 1 or 2 people, you may want to invest in the option wind deflector.

Very nice! Same vintage as my gc, which will be heading down with me to my 18th lemans come June.

Pic attached half way round the nc500 last summer.

They’re glorious motors, enjoy.4794DFD1-3A99-4150-B6D9-FF5F68F98B7A.jpeg
