Which one did you get, Brian?
Husqvarna. There are cheaper makes but it’s worth paying a little more. I have two, a 105 and a 310.
There are some offers currently—>

Nice, but I would need 4 given the limited capacity... and I hate lawn clippings rotting in the lawn. Although the larger commercial one looks reasonable.

You won’t see any lawn clippings at all. It’s razor blades cutting off such fine cuttings that they’re invisible.
Some of them do 3500 square meters…

Given that its former farm land with lots of debris as well as sheep and horse poo... I doubt they will be that sharp after a few runs

I wish they did one my size, in 4WD with a 5ft wide cutting deck!

But I suppose then I wouldn't need the Lambo, so where's the fun in that?!
Convert the Lambo to remote control and sit sipping vino as you cut the lawn in the distance. WCPGW.

I preferred (and had) a Sand Scorcher. Identical underneath just different shells. So tempted to buy one again....

I think I still have mine in a box, unlike the later Tamiya RC models most of it was metal, wishbones, dampers etc. with real bearings as opposed to lots of plastic parts

Absolutely. One of the things that's put me off from a new one (plus the fact I know I'll be bored of it in a couple of days)

I wish I I still had mine! The originals are worth a small fortune today!

Pretty sure mine is well battered, I remember it ripping ball joints out of the suspension arms and the body had more than a crack or two. Next time I'm rummaging I will see what I can find

They all did that sir. The wishbones used to have replaceable sockets
