Folks,

I ordered one of these to try and have just ordered another. Sams detailing drying towel, huge thing and soaks up the water like crazy.
I’ve been using it for the initial mop up then reverting to my trusty der sonus for the final wipe.

But can definitely recommend these.

No affiliation but washed and dried 2 cars this weekend, drying with the 20x24 Liquid8r and was blown away. One pass drying without streaks in cold weather is not something I’ve managed to find after spending lots of various products. Really impressed as it’s not a huge towel and doesn’t get ridiculously heavy and cumbersome as some other good towels I’ve bought (for example Gorilla Silverback XL). Seems widely available in the UK at reasonable prices so thought I’d share for those of you that way inclined! The link below is to the US supplier but a quick google search shows them on sale at several places.

haven’t tried the Sam’s detailing one but seems like twisted loop is the way to go

I just splashed the jet washer around the cars getting the worse off and salt.
Didn't bother with any contact wash, will be black again a mile up the road tomorrow morning :(
