New Car - not Maserati

Finally decided to pull the trigger on another car.

It had to be noisy, thirsty, swift and a little bit of a looker (IMO), so another Granturismo was on the radar, along with another Merc. Not being in a rush, I bided my time waiting for the right car and deal to appear. So a few weeks ago I found myself back in a Mercedes CLS63 again. I love its marmite looks, and whilst it’s deep Germanic growl can’t quite match the Granturismo’s passionate Italian roar, it’s a cracking all round car.

Lovely CLS that......well done. Always fancied a CLS but never all came together as yet. Had a couple of E55k's and love many of those MB power trains.

Just bought an E43 Estate and really like the way it drives and looks a little bit toned down to an E63 for which I prefered.

These are great cars. Well as with all AMG’s. Looks stunning. Enjoy.

That is one nice looking CLS. They are a bit difficult to sell, but I feel much sexier than a C or E class. Spec is everything on these.

Congrats

Your E43 is a cracking example, I’ve seen it on here and MBClub. It’s a great balance between performance, style and comfort.

I love the 55k engined cars. I’ve previously owned two CLS55’s and both were superb.

Yes very niche as the looks of the car are quite marmite. But it certainly helps when buying. I agree that they are a bit “sexier” than the C and E, but I am biased!

Looks nice that, lot of car for the money is a CLS.
I’d literally just put a deposit on it when you listed the 2013 GT for sale (an hour!). I showed my sons the GT and world war 3 nearly broke out! After a family debate we decided to go CLS again. A day earlier and it may have been a different outcome.
