I know it's done next to no miles, but what a shame it wasn't serviced. One service in 9 years isn't ideal.
You'd think if you spent that sort of money on one to keep as an investment, you'd pay 1-2k every 2 years to keep it tip top.

It wouldn’t put me off, it’s not been used. I’d look for a pre-delivery service as part of the price, the correct 3-4K one with carbon canister etc etc.

And if i had the spare cash, I’d buy that in a heartbeat. Good job it doesn’t have the roll cage or i may have called the bank...

I agree re the colour, really don’t think it shows well on the car for some reason.

It’s the photos, they’re over-exposed and hide the lines of the car. Silver is used by designers to model the shape of prototypes so in real life, it should look ace.

"Upon an agreed sale the car will be fully serviced by Maserati". Does a £100 carbon canister make that much difference??
The problem with the colour is the choice of location. Am not the world's biggest Stradale fan but surely that's better than white or black.

The original launch colour of the GT was silver. They look great in that colour.

And repeatedly servicing a car sat still in a dehumidified storage facility is fairly pointless. Just recommission it as and when it finally comes out for use.

Seems a good buy to me. It’s maybe £10k or so more than a 2 seat Strad with 50 times that mileage and the associated wear and tear. The old adage is “buy the best you can find/afford”, and I can’t imagine there’s a better one out there.

This. And then some.

It’s probably the lowest mileage 2 seater Stradale on the planet. And it’s “only” 70k. That’s the same as an M3 these days. Ridiculous.

As I said, good job it doesn’t have the roll cage, and i don’t have the space, or the spare cash thanks to Covid. Or I’d have this. Biggest bargain there is.

Well I’d drive it, gently for a bit to run it all in and then If nothing had broken I’d crack on.
If it ain’t broken......

Not sure the service thing will make much difference, it will need doing upon sale.

If it were a better colour, I would be up for buying it,

Get a bit of a deal on it and it would be mine plus £10k for a basically new one. Good man maths I recon.

Silver looks great and will show he lines better than most colours as Outrun has said.....and that is such a rare colour on a Stradale. Only ever seen one other and that was left hand drive......Just love it.

Struggling? Not many boats to paint?
For a while it was definitely quieter - while every boatyard, Marina, and boat manufacturer in the developed World was closed. But it’s back to normal now. Indeed, we’ve just had a record June and July, both in turnover and profit.
Still have too many cars though, so it’s definitely a one out, one in policy at best.
We have a planning application in for a new pool house also, so best I keep SWMBO happy and don’t do anything silly!

More excitingly, we are imminently due to launch our new anti-COVID coating. It’s for all high-touch items, such as door handles, push plates, trolley handles, railings, banisters, etc. The aim is to sell it to hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, airports, bus/train companies and stations, offices, etc. It’s copper based (obviously), permanent, is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and anti-viral, killing the bugs on contact.
Will be needing to recruit a new sales team to progress this project.

Hmm. So, buy it, thrash its little Italian pants off wouldn't quite tick the boxes, then..?

It's actually a shame. A car that is such a joy and an event to drive being locked away, unseen and unused, is a terrible waste. It would be better if the car had 5 or 10k miles under its belt so using the thing wouldn't feel so wrong.

well said Adam.

@Ewan Can you PM me some details. I work with most of the large hotel brands, and know most of the directors of of engineering so could put this in front of them.

A very nice Grigio Touring Stradale with (the correct!!) 4 seats pictured at the Maserati club AGM 3 years ago at Blenheim Palace. In the flesh on the outside, it looks very understated and subtle except this one has a red & black interior which is not so subtle!

Oh, it works! It's an anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-viral coating that works on contact and continues to do so for years.

A virus such as Covid-19 could typically live for 5 days or so on a surface such as a steel or aluminium door handle. But on a handle treated with our coating, the virus would be attacked instantly and the kill rate is 99.9% within an hour. So as an example, when you leave your office, factory, bar, etc at the end of the day, on your return the following morning all treated surfaces will have self-cleaned. And this is a process that is constant, happening all day, all night, 24-7. As an example, a well-known Japanese car manufacturer has just used it in one of their factories in the USA.

The potential is simply enormous.
