Sounds like he drove into a workshop with bay windows and dropped his trousers and bent over.
If it's only done 20k miles that is a waste. Car is only good enough for parts. What does RoryRati need?

It is also an example of how your Maserati might be fairly trouble free, but if you do suddenly get faced with a big bill that you can't bring yourself to pay you are looking at a sales pitch like this, and your £10,000 fun car is suddenly an unusable liability that's only worth £4,000.

Yes £20k in service costs the year before, insane.
basically a parts car now as I can’t imagine anyone buying that to repair it.

No advisory at the previous mot that the subframe is beginning to look a bit flakey, looks like it’s got that bad in the last year.

Discretion of the Tester but as an ex one the warning signs would have been evident previously shows how poor the MOT test is.
Would love to read through the 20 Grand service bill to see what was advised on there.

Clutch reading shows 6% worn so im guessing it had a new clutch as part of that 20k bill. Although 20k would have got him a new car so doesnt really make much sense to have spent 20k and critical structural parts are in their current state.

Im sure all the specialists would have pointed the state of the underside out before changing the clutch let alone spending a further 15k on anything else.

You would certainly hope so.

On a qp i considered it had a bill for 11,900 for new subrame , service , handles etc. Throw a new clutch in 4 tyres and its close
